Thoughts on old vs new music?

Personally I kind of dig some of the new remixed tracks, although it seems like they slowed them down because people couldn't understand them, which I find amusing. I think I prefer the old Iwatodai dorm, though.

I am disappointed in the new music, but I am very aware it's because I have loved and cherished the old ost for years and years. I am sure that new players will like it, there is nothing wrong with the new music - but for me, as someone who loves the original music, it's like listening to your favorite song but you realize it sounds like someone else is singing it, it's too slow, and their voice is in a different register. So yeah. Kinda bummed about the music.

Not unhappy but I noticed the difference. The answer is probably only nostalgia though I don't think I ever understood the lyrics for half the old songs.

It was mostly a matter of getting used to. I'm pretty happy with the selection 6 hours in and I genuinely think some stuff is either equal or better, but some takes definitely sound worse, even after some time

Basically, it's what I expected of a remake, I'm personally satisfied

Yeah, the old Iwatodai is better IMO. New one ain't so bad though.

Kinda sucks. Originals are better. You could hear that from trailers already. But when not in headphones and with other sounds the same time, it's not that bad.

I think new OST it's on par if not better than original in case of some tracks. I really dig every track during life sim sections (e.g shopping, Dorm themes)

They're more intresting and have more going on. I'm no sound artist or expert so I can't properly express the differences.

New tracks are good but they stand out above rearranged ones. Not in the bad way but you can tell which ones are new.

i personally think p3 music in general sucks ass. i just enjoy the general style and the atmosphere of the game

Persona 3 has my favorite story of them.. but the music is surpassed by like every other one...

I Think overall its better. generally speaking just the extra battle theme outweighs everything else.

Also, I listen in home theatre, even if some arrangements suffer. The fidelity is a lot better, and since I didn't like the original music that much anyway I prefer it.

I am notice other changes far more than music.
