Would you buy Persona 6 if it only had a Female Main character?

From what I understand with my limited information on the series, the only female protagonist were in 2 and 3 Portable would you be okay if we only had a female protagonist?

I'm asking this to start a discussion as to why or why not, not to attack women or start something before people get offended by it.

Honestly I'd be *more* inclined and interested to pick it up since it'd finally be something fresh and we could stop doing the same old 'Lol bathhouse scene' and other tired tropes over and over again, along with exploring more interesting male relationships (Since ATLUS still seems to be a little scared of touching this sort of thing from a Male PoV, outright removing Yosuke's in P4..)
Ringo nailed the role in Soul Hackers 2. More of that would be a breath of fresh air.

thats a complicated question. in the case of 2 it was okay considering 2 was a story about an established character. there was no self insert element to persona yet. in modern persona, the self insert element is the biggest appeal of the game. I highly doubt they would alienate the overwhelmingly large majority of playerbase by making the protagonist female only. while I do understand the female playerbase would get alienated if the tables are turned (which will most likely be the case), they make up a very small minority of players. obviously alienating any part of the playerbase isn't okay but considering how massive persona games are and how much work goes into making them, I dont think its possible that someone gets left out unless Atlus suddenly gets given a budget akin to call of duty or something.

if P6 was female only I MAY consider checking it out but only at a very VERY steep discount. definitely wouldn't be a day one game for me.

usually female protags are written better imho, persona 5 had better backstory than others imho. Less of a blank slate character. So yes.

I mean, I'd love to see the polls or data on that. The main protagonists have always been the lowest part of these games for me personally. Hope Refantazio/6 shakes things up.
