How is performance?
I'd usually be playing on my 3090/5950x rig but I'm currently travelling and was wondering if my 2070 laptop would handle this game at 1440p/4k 60fps? Shame there doesn't seem to be TSR/DLSS options. Also as a sidenote is HDR in the game or will I need to use Auto/SpecialK?

There's a thread about the game having shader compilation stutter.

Majority here are likely still waiting on it so you may not get much for replies, but who knows maybe someone swiped one early.
Got a 4090 myself so I do look forward to seeing how it looks and plays, just not interested in spending the 70 bucks. I'll wait personally.
If you pick it up I hope you enjoy it.

Already preloaded, big fan of Persona series and 3 in particular (first entry I played in the PS2 days) so i'm justifying the purchase. Will probably mess around with it for a few hours to get a feel for things and start a proper 'merciless' save once I'm back home.

it runs well. I just left it at 120 locked with everything high, not really many options. Zero stutter and tbh its such a light game that my fans don't turn on my GPU. I think there are no issues and it will even be on the steam deck.

MY only complaint is it doesn't support 3440x1440p ultrawide.

I’ve heard it’s pretty solid, I’m intrigued to see how it does on the OLED Steam Deck as well… I’ll be jumping between my PC and the SD myself.

Good with RTX 3070 and 16 GB RAM ...The game looks very nice, but the graphics are really simple so it does not need a hyberbrutal GPU.

Here and there some stutters when camera moves and its crowded but I never cared about such a stuff in any game at all.

Works better than P5 Royal at launch but I already had 1 crash.
Also having microstutters in some situations.

AutoHDR seems to be not detecting the game, might have to use SpecialK.

Garbage. I frequently get frame drops down to 15 FPS with a 7900XTX and a 7950X3D.

Anyone can share good steam deck settings?
Royner Feb 1, 2024 @ 9:49pm
No HDR, I had to disable reflections because it was killing the FPS in steamdeck, game uses ray tracing reflections for some reason

so not just my steam deck then...
Solid 120 fps on 4090 but it does dip down to 60 in menus. Only problem with it is that when you leave a menu it takes a few seconds for it to go back up to 120. Weird little bug but nothing too major.

From what I've seen, a stable 60 on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 1650 on 1080p with high shadows and 125% res scaling.

Yeah, steam deck performance is a bit wack so far. Just started playing, default settings set to 720p, high graphics. Strip mall area dipped down to 20 fps in the intro. Same with the MC's room. would be 15-20 fps or so. Turning off reflections brought it up to 45 fps or so there.
