Ok. The rest of us will enjoy the game.
koinzell Jan 31, 2024 @ 6:05pm
are you new? denuvo works.

it actually protects atlus games from pirates. i don't think they'll ever remove it. they'll possibly replace it with a much more stronger version of DRM.

Why are you going to bat for a billion dollar company? They don't give you any of their profits.

We will miss you, bro.
So sad, that you'll not play it.

Damn, how did Baldur's 3 Gate make so much money? They didn't use Denuvo or even Steams' DRM. By they way you guys complain how developers can't make money without DRM, this wouldn't make sense

Never had a problem with Denuvo. Just people being nutty as always.

Denuvo also has a negative effect on game performance, its been proven time and again to simply be a fact. That could be a problem for people with older PC's and whatnot but usually not a problem for us rocking modern hardware. I understand why people are concerned.

This likely has more to do with you having good hardware than anything else. Its been proven again and again through rigorous testing that Denuvo has a negative effect on game performance, just as people theorized it would when they voiced their concerns when Denuvo first started being used. Its not even a question that Denuvo will hamper performance anymore, which is why so many games that use Denuvo do remove it after some time.

I don't like Denuvo like everyone else but I have learn to live with it at this point. Its like getting upset that games are full price with microtransactions. Nothing will change and it will happen again and again.

Doesn't help when people say they will pirate the games. X_X Like yeah lets just tell the companies we will steal their stuff and be surprise and upset they put more security on their games that hurts their performance. Doesn't matter if it will be crack later or not, Denuvo knew how to sell itself to Companies.

im not defending. im just stating the obvious.

denuvo works now (since nobody seem to want to bother with cracking it),
that's why atlus & sega & SE & bemco are doing it.
as for the stronger DRM, capcom seems to have found something that works & also cheap.

normal ppl do not care about moral and ethics, even if you or me didn't buy it, we'll easily get replaced by 44 ppl that like new stuff.

It's a SEGA game, are we really still getting surprised by Denuvo when near every PC game SEGA released, especially Atlus games, have had it? I'm not crazy about it either, but it's not like anyone who has any say in whether it's added to the games or not even checks Steam forums. Complaining that a SEGA game has Denuvo is like complaining that Taco Bell tastes like ass. We know.

Denuvo is why I'm picking up Granblue Relink and not this.
morbit Jan 31, 2024 @ 7:53pm

Denuvo doesn't really cause issues nowadays. It's not an issue.
