What are the chances of Atlus releasing a updated edition of their remake game?
Honestly i wouldn't put it past them.

Has contents of both PSP and FES.

the pessimist in me makes me think thats why we dont have fem protag in the remake, so they have more content to put into Persona 3 Reload "Shining" or whatever

Considering that Persona 5 released without standard content that was in base versions of P3&4 I would say your skepticism is warranted.

You would think so, but Persona Royal is example of what could have been just DLC. They reworked and added things to warranty their reason for having a expanded edition of their game, instead of DLC.

ATLUS' tendency to "double dip" with their titles is the only reason I decided not to buy this game for now. Last year I bought Persona 3 Portable - which I ended up not playing when after progressing a bit in game I learned a full remake is on the way. I'd hate to buy this game three times, should a "full version now for real" be on the way.
Gotta wait a year and see, I guess. Pity, because the game looks awesome and I only played P4G and P5/P5R/P5S so far.

Unlikely. They were working on P3 Reload since 2019, it'd be really odd for them to port P3P only to release a remake a year after and then add FeMC to it later.

I guess they would see it as a chance to make people double dip or even triple dip, but i don't believe even ATLUS is THAT dense, a move like that would doom their reputation. Idk about everybody else but i wouldn't buy from the ever again, i don't care if they continue to make good games, after a thing like that they can go suck a big one.

Yeah but Royals content was integrated into the main journey, The Answer is entirely seperate. All the other FES content is in the game, so realistically all they could do is just make The Answer DLC. That's also what has been rumoured recently, and seems most likely to me

Rumors saying Answer is DLC, thats very unlike Atlus. I expected Rerelease of thr remake expanded.

I would prefer Female MC but thats just me, i dont care much of The Answer besides the boss fights against "people"

It’s more that the game is being released unfinished and incomplete for over $60 I have an issue with. If it was, I don’t know, actually complete? I wouldn’t have an issue.

Well, i was glad to hear more of the FES content is in the game, but the ending, if it's DLC I just did it w/ the new Yakuza series, and I will do it here to get it added.

Do i agree with the business practices, absolutely not, though. I just want my content.
