anyone else surprised at the minimum specs?
with this being on the "hire this man" engine, i was totally expecting it to have requirements that would even make my mostly high-end machine (high end for 2020, at least...) struggle with a little.
the minimum cpu being only slightly worse than p5r's is crazy. and *just* a 650 ti for graphics??? that's cool.

Honestly Atlus is doing a good job optimizing these games it seems. You don't see it that often

Look at the dorm lighting and furniture.

This is less to do with optimization and more to do with the game being PS3 tier visuals.

Graphically it's about the same as P5 and that was a PS3 game

The dorm lighting is questionable, but that doesn't mean the rest of the game is "ps3 tier". Everywhere else the game looks great, certainly for a persona title. I have seen your extreme bias towards granblue, which is funny considering that game looks pretty ps3 too then ig

It's a good thing, at least I won't have to buy another graphic card to play this game (I own a GTX 1650 super), it means the game was well optimized and it's something we should thanks them for. Also it's compatible with the Steamdeck so it should be fine on my Ubuntu.

There's nothing in Relink that looks like that dorm.

I'm interested in playing both games, but Atlus are inept and have their head very far up their own ass for not delaying Reload.

I obviously don't think Relink looks like a ps3 title, but neither does Reload. I have seen several discussions of relink having apparently downgraded graphics, which you replied with saying people are being nit-picky, yet here you are, using one area and generalizing it for how the entire game will look, claiming it's "ps3 tier". I know you prob have seen none of the trailers or anything else regarding Reload, but saying it looks "ps3" is quite disingenuous, certainly when you compare reload to prior persona games.

I don't see why they should delay the game, the dorm lighting could possibly be adjusted on release, it wouldn't be the first time. Even if the dorm lighting remains the same, it's hardly as bad as you make it seem when the rest of the game looks really good

I'm hoping the specs are accurate. My CPU is on the weaker end...

I want to know if this game is compatible with iGPUs on certain modern intel and AMD CPUs.

It should be because it is Steam Deck Verified and that device has an APU/IGPU. So that means they did all kinds of testing with at least an AMD APU/IGPU.

Having more "cartoony" graphics is a huge positive not only for performance, but also because it ages really well. Sly 2 that came out in 2004 still looks good to this day because of the cartoon stylisation. Same goes for Persona since they started using the Catherine artstyle.
