Full remake. Looks like it contains some FES content like Aigis' Social Link, but no The Answer or FeMC.

And knowing Atlus, they'll release another updated version in 2-3 years that contains The Answer and FeMC.

At full price of course.

Imagine Persona 5's engine/artstyle as P3 more or less.

The last of us got a remake and its not a new game its the same game with improved stuff visually and technically that wasn't worth full price so...

well seeing the DLCs that dexclude Izanagi-no-Okami makes me concern there might be a re-release of Reload in few years later that also added The Answer (i doubt about FeMC though), just like how they did in Persona 5 Vanilla, because they added Raoul, Okami, Orpheus Female, and Athena right in the Royal, perhaps they can re-write The Answer story as third semester too, but up to now i still think that The Answer should exclusive to FES, But if Atlus is being Atlus anything could happen.

If I end up buying it and they do that I'll be done with atlus. Capcom with monster hunter and Nintendo/ gamefreak with pokemon have the decency to at least release that stuff as DLC.

I'm aware hence why I might not even buy the game coupled with a myriad of other reasons

To be honest, this argument doesn't work with the example of P5R, because a lot of what was changed and added in that game was hard coded, so the only way to actually change it was to make a separate release with the changes to the game itself made. Keep in mind file size would have also been an issue. So not only would all of the code need to be installed as two separate executable, but you would still need vanilla P5 installed to boot P5R, on top of a lot of external assets being changed between the two games, so you would effectively need to have the same game installed twice in order to play P5R, at that point, it would be easy for both the developers AND consumers to just make it a separate game that just has all the assets in it.

EDIT
The point I'm making is that FeMC route and The Answer both use the OG mechanics, but with different external assets, so adding them as DLC would actually be a practical option. Previous examples of Atlus releasing games with new content have always consisted of bringing the games to new platforms, or being on platforms were adding content to an existing release was either impossible or only existed in specific regions.
