Great list. You can add Beatrice, recruited after the tulip auction quest line by going to Amsterdam in November, completing the quests, then returning there in February. She has high Selection and Craftsmanship (increases the trade profits of Artware). Also Lowland Climate - increases trade profits in Dutch sphere. Speaks Dutch.

Also Yuskin. Pick him up at the pier in Venice after you get Beatrice in Amsterdam. Merchant who reduces sailor wages and increases profits from trading Specialties.

anyone else notice on 2nd/3rd/4th runs that some are recruited in different ways? especially true of starter companions. An other example is i never saw Beatrice's starting mission at Amsterdam on Yoshitaka MC, but saw it immediately with Yun MC.

Characters that are sort of sidekick characters to mcs are recruited through main quest. I've tried to only write how they are recruited in any other playthrough, I strongly suspect that some characters vary on exact locations but I'm not certain of this yet.

Are you sure you went at the right time? I definitely got Beatrice normally as Yoshitaka, you need to go to Amsterdam during November to start the quest chain.

How much of this is the actual stats of the equipment vs what Marma get's in addition to that. I've only been listing the additional bonus gained.

This thread will get ejected from General. Perhaps make a guide and copy-paste the list there.

I believe I have now found every character in the game so I have pushed this information into an actual guide. Still WIP on some information like a few specialties and definitely don't know all the equipment bonuses there likely are, so would definitely still appreciate any more information people can provide. Otherwise I'll probably eventually get to the rest myself.

Character: Yoshitaka Shizuma
Nature Surpassing - Can freely modify ship cabins

What does this do exactly? I've been playing as Yoshitaka, but no idea what this perk is actually good for. It does not allow you to modify cabins for free, nor does it allow you to skip buying the 50k cabin reconstruction item.

I think we're actually not 100% sure yet. I think the running theory is that it removes the lock on some cabins in ships, like you can modify ones you wouldn't normally be able to. I think the translation is really unclear. The Japanese translation isn't really any clearer to me and I don't know Chinese.

Right, forgot to mention that at least for the small and medium ships, the captains cabin and pilot house can't be changed

And it still costs money to change the cabins, so afaik it does nothing?

Edit: Only thing I can think of would be letting you change the ratio of supply to storage, but I can't find a prompt, so still no idea

You can change that ratio in the storage menu on the screen where you can set an auto-route, it's definitely not unique to Yoshitaka so really no clear idea what it does.

That is going to be the #1 problem for this game, the name, it's going to screw them hard when it comes to search engine results xD, at least pretty much all the info that is available is on Steam so it's not too bad
