How do you unlock cabin extension?
My crew are all 40+ as Andrew and this ship aging is killing me.

I've heard multiple things, from 20k population, to 300 tech level of your starting port, haven't gotten it myself yet and it's getting annoying

It certainly doesn't have to be in your starting port, since I've seen in in multiple locations by now.

You need some one have ship build skill higher than lv3 to trigger custom ship, refit with workshop on ship than assign a sailor. or just change ship when it aging enough.

Question though: If you you build cabins on the support ships I assume only the captain skills matter since you can't assign NPCs to work there?

Only Flag ships matters, others dont have "crew" beside the captain

This I assume. I hope so anyway. I did wonder if having a room on a non flagship would give some sort of passive bonus to something but erred on the side of thinking 'if it does I can't see it anywhere' so they all changed to warehouses - other than gun rooms. Those I leave as gun rooms. And some you cannot change even if you want to.
I assume the cargo extensions still work gonna test in a bit.

Hey I just got the cabin extension blueprint from Lisbon. It was at the item shop for 50,000. I think it may be the tech points that made it come out? Tech is 476 and trade is 691.
