Uncharted Waters?

Is this like Koei's Uncharted Waters series? It looks quite like it at face value and those are some of my favorite games of all time!

The demo gave me back some fond memories of the Uncharted Water games, there is differences that are easy to notice, but overall I think people who are not looking for an exact replica but something Uncharted Waters-like would find a measure of enjoyment in the game. Based off the demo.

Is the trading system as deep as Uncharted Waters is? Like are there completely different types of goods tied to certain regions and ports that sell for incredible amounts in europe?

From what I play in the demo there's something similar to that. The demo has Naha port selling cheap silk you can sell for a lot in your home port in China...probably something similar in the full game?

Seems like so. Try the demo and you will know. Most of the systems are very similar, there maybe a little new content on this game.
