Indus River Landing Site Treasure Location

So help me god, I can't find it. I didn't know how to use the cane to spot it, and I have no idea where the treasure is. Can someone point me in the right direction? It's the first treasure chest.

ok, it's just north of the starting point. Use detect button to use your cane to explore surrounding area.

Use the dig button to unearth. It's the x marks the spot is where you want to dig. Hope this shot helps.

Use the rods they have a decent range and will show you all events around you, using it on a mountain extend the range even more.

thanks! got it. Now I have to figure out why the quest didn't complete.

Also..how on earth do I get more rods? I've searched almost the entire earth.

Any item shop when you get town to i think 800 TECH. Also what quest?

to 100% an exploration area you also have to find all the tiles, if any of them are still hidden by the fog you'll need to get them too, usually this is one in a corner somewhere if you've been over all the map. I'd recommend going right into the 4 corners and see if that does it for ya. As to Rods you can buy them at one every other month in an item Shop like in Lisbon once it hits 800 tech and 40k population. When you first get it to that sometimes there will be 2 in the shop.
