How to find the Lost Ship stolen by Blackbeard?

Hello, I am at the part of the Shimazu main questline where I need to find the lost ship held by Blackbeard. How do I progress in that quest? I am at the Caribbean. I have been to those pirate islands and looked into the taverns there (Havana, San Juan, San Diego etc.) , I did not get any cut scene to progress the quest. Can anyone please provide the answer?

think you need to find Blackbeard in Santo Domingo or San Diego one of those 2

I have checked the taverns at Nassau , Havana , Grand Cayman , Jamaica , San Diego , Santo Domingo , San Juan. I do not see Blackbeard there. What am I missing?

well the order i did that part in was : Nassau>Battle> Nassau (find out that Henry left for London> and here is where we diverged cause there was a tip in the quest that i should find the lost ship before going to London > and when I entered Santo Domingo found Blackbeard in the tavern> he sinks the ship and when you go to London you find Henry in the tavern and the ship builder talks to you and that closes the quest

Edit: if you have a previous save before reaching Nassau first time i suggest you use it, as i am 100% sure there is a note in the quest text after the battle that you should find the lost ship first before going to London

I just managed to recruit Blackbeard ... and I feel the quest writing is odd. I went to check out those taverns again, in case I missed anything. I found Jaca in one of the taverns, talked to him and he joined up. And then I went to another tavern (all in those islands), Blackbeard spawned in the tavern. Spoke to him, then he said to go to the pier. My understanding is he sunk his ship and then joined my ship.

fyi I already got Henry into my fleet before I got Blackbeard

yeah you should have gotten henry before him and Jaca, that is an important part of the quest for all main chars. i mean all main chars have a counter part on the pirates side.

the thing is that Blackbeard should have sink that ship before you got henry
happy you completed the quest

Nassau or Veracruz are my best bet, but not sure, cause it can depend on your MC and story chapter, get Henry and Carlos and then check again i guess
