Does anyone have a link for a list of the various equipment and where to find ?

don't think anyone has a list like that but i do have a large compilation especially with the items that give bonuses to each char, so if you tell me a char name I "maybe" able to help

I have equipment stores in my notes, just ripped straight from them so sorry if it's not super well organized. This also assumes that the town's development is maxed.

There's some unique equipment, they show up with purple names. They have special bonuses to certain characters.

The Spoon Compass for Yun Mu for example, or the Katana (from Blade in the Water) for Amagai.

So, if you get a purple named item, keep it and make sure you find out who it belongs to.

Worth noting that the name only displays as purple when it is equipped on a character who get's a bonus for it.

Mousing over all items with each character periodically is the "best" way to find out who gets unique bonuses from items. But as with inventory management, it's deeply flawed, as in quite user unfriendly. (Looking through 600+ items to see whether or not I already have enough of a certain item is one hell of a chore, repeatedly)

Yea, my guide I believe is now updated with the bonus for every character so that's a bit more searchable. Some of the items have descriptions that hint at bonuses but a lot of it is just doing this over and over.

Characters do have likes if you check the knowledge base, but that honestly doesn't help much. Helps for barmaids though.
