Support Captains

Support captains skills and attributes apply to their ships? Such as culinary, medicine, sail, steering… etc?

Nope. Only Leadership. Support ships do not need any cabins other than warehouses and gun rooms. (Someone mentioned lounge but unknown if true)

I am not sure either but if I am not mistaken some ships simply hit the cap of how many guns and warehouses you can fit and you have one or more empty slots left over. So you may as well toss in something...

your support captains only need to be good to align themselves to make the salvo combo, the higher percentage the better, but i dont care either as combat is so easy, i usually dump the most useless character as support captain and take in my cabin the most important and skilled ones

basically, have your main ship have all the different type of cabins, with extra cannons, and have your support ships maxed out of cannons and warehouses, and maybe a lounge for morale support.

Im playing Abdulla, so I have two support captains with boarding specialty. Shen and Amagai, they are amazing in boarding and helps alot with capturing ships.
