Beagle ( Brig ) Fast warship with increased crew
Mercury ( Schooner ) kind of combat adventure hybrid
San Juan ( large galleon ) really good warship with great durability for what it is
these are the ships i have built at shipbuilding 10
i have noticed another variant of ships but not considered rare , they just have increased crew or gunnery stats and different names ( Giant Ottoman Galleass for example )
Edited : It is Haicang ship - A ship smaller and faster than Fu-chuan. It features multiple cannons and is usually used as an escort battleship by caravans during transportation.
Yes
And then I assume this sentence: "As far as I know, there is no specify ports where you need to build them." is missing the part where it still needs to be a culture specific port? Or perhaps I'm missing something, but I thought for example a Large Galleon blueprint can only be used in certain European or Mediterranean ports, and for example not in Asia. Despite having 40+ hrs on my Yoshitaka I know very little about ship building.
You can use any blueprint at any port. I have build all Rare Variants from a Single Port, so ill assume that the ports dont actually matters but rather shipbuilding levels. Hence having Shipbuilding level 12 is very important as it enables the full range of perks (Entries) a ship can have. With 5 Entries you will be able to trigger any rare variants since 5 is the maximum Entries/Perks/Bonus a ship can have. So you basically can save scum before the building of ships and then Land Expedition (To fast forward days as each movement of box represents a single day)
Have not tried, but all ships were build at MAX tech
Privateer, Privateer, Brig, Beagle, Privateer.
