Does skill book store reset to buy again?

I’m going through the library and getting stuck due to character skills. realizing that I shouldn’t have spent all skill books to random characters. Trying to play around with equipments but still missing some skills.

As far as I know only once after you max out the development of the port

They do after you unlock the printing press thing. They reset every few in-game months. But each person can only read that book once.

Seems to restock bought books after the port gets to a certain population. So you can get 2 of each book.

Does it still restock if the port is maxed out already? Like buying a book and that book got replaced. Now that i maxed out the port, will it replace the books that i buy? Because I had to max out a port just to buy three books to unlock the Fu chuan ship blueprint.

I passed two years through expedition spam and it didn't refresh. It seems you miss out on book replacements for your bookstore if you max out your development before you buy all the skill books. Only the books you bought prior get replaced.

oh man i see... some people may get stuck and never be able to finish the quest line. Maybe the game should let characters equip duplicate items.
