shipwrecked 64 is still amazing.

1 year after the first time I played, and I can still confidently say it's one of the best indie horror games ever created. Just a bit ago, I got my final achievement for this game after beating the 1997 version for the third time now. I love and cherish this little project that a 17 (now 19) year old student finishing up high school worked on for countless hours of his day. Shipwrecked 64 is truly a product of its era. An era where people can look back and truly appreciate something that came to be before they had even came to be. Super Mario 64 is nearing its 30th anniversary in just 1 year. And Shipwrecked, something well beyond Super Mario 64, still has clear and heavy inspiration from that nearly 29 year old release. It's kinda funny in a way. But most of all, thank you Squeaks, for making a game that those of whom played it to its fullest can remember fondly for years to come.
