Is the actual game fun?
I've seen reviews saying the actual gameplay is tedious.

I completely disagree, if you can't solve puzzles then yeah, but otherwise its an amazing game.

I've heard about activating generators or something as a main complain, is that a puzzle, or is something like collecting pages in Slenderman?

There is a section where the objective is to note and activate like 20 computers, but its really not bad and not nearly indicative of the rest of the gameplay. Its timing in the game is lowkey a good pace breaker that doesn't overstay its welcome.

Nah it's not really that fun, there is a part halfway through where you get enemies to hide from but their AI is very basic

My personal horror GOTY of 2024. Everyone likes different things. Pick up the game, it's cheap.
