A nearby text log talks about getting music sheets, and the song that plays in the room with ECDC is Ht Cross Buns, but only up to the "one a penny, two a penny, hot cross buns" line. This can be played only using the E, D, and C notes. In that small snippet of song, E is played 3 times, C is played 7 times, and D is played 7 times. Apply the numbers to the letters and get 3777. I'd have to confirm that's actually a working code, but I think it was correct?

You'll know when to use them.
Aww, that's sweet! I'm glad he flashed the post on screen to show the logic behind it too. Thanks for letting me know! <3
In the Art Gallery there are coloured paintings on the wall. Some of these paintings are of numbers. Take note of what colour is assigned to which number. There's two sets of keypads in the art gallery that you can open by looking at the string of coloured flags above their respective gate, and entering in what numbers those colours represent. I caught that green is 8, but I didn't catch the others.
In Layer 3, something brings up a video called "Magma". The Nato Phonetic Alphabet plays, giving us the string "GRSLXBC" (assuming stand-by is "S" and not a pause. Unsure about that atm), though I don't know what this is useful for. What is useful is the description reading "Mount Pinatubo?". Mount Pinatubo last erupted in 1991, which is a code for a gate in Layer 3, somewhere near the computer that cycles through colours. Speaking of which....
In Layer 3, there's a computer that has ____ (empty placements for a 4 digit code), and cycles through different screens, showing different colours while pointing to parts of the empty code. I believe you use the same trick as in the Gallery. Take note of where each arrow points + what colour the screen is, and input the corresponding number.
Heyo, my boyfriend and I finally got through this part (after accidentally softlocking(?) the game on my end, oops) and just want to say thank you for letting us know how you found the solution to ECDC! We did need to remember this method for another code in another room in the true ending route!
Heyo!
My boyfriend and I have (finally) figured out the solution to the RXBC code! In Walter’s death room, when you get to the area with the 4 houses, there is a tape recorder called “Code is RXBC”. The audio plays out a string of letters in the Phonetic Alphabet, which we originally thought was trying to spell out a sentence in BeaverScratch, but instead it just came out as a mess of letters. We had just figured out tonight that you are suppose to count how many times the letters R, X, B, and C are said in the audio, and that will give you the code.
Funny enough, my boyfriend had almost gotten it through another method that involved counting in binary right before I had finally found the code via YouTube (I had given up at that point and just wanted to progress through the game).

yeah, this is correct. tried it once I heard hot cross buns and it worked out with the pool room keypad
It was only sometime after the 6th of January that they must've been made, as there were none at that time.
