tips on wildfire?

i have never beaten ja2 and i am using a laptop and can only get wildfire to run and not classic, i have soent 50 hours play ja2 v1.13 so i know how to play.

i am aware wildfire is alot harder so i need some tips because the first firefight is noticabley tougher

I have heard wildfire is way more popular in Europe for some reason

Yep. Especially in German. I have no idea why.

The only thing that works for me is to be very careful. I usually replay each round 3 to 10 times, sometimes more. You have to learn where the enemy stands by being shot dead so you know how to access it when playing the same round after reloading. Often it still does not work. The soldier reserve is not large enough to allow a lot of dead soldiers.

One tip i would say is a winner is to have lynx on your team every time.
