v1.13 - "Ctrl + '.' popup menu

I was googling around for something and I happened across an site which claimed you could press Ctrl + . to get a menu to activate spotting for your sniper. I hadn't seen anything like that so I pressed it, and the menu that came up had 4 fairly useless things, "like take clothes off", but nothing like spotter. It also had 4 unassigned keys which I assume I can allocate things to.

Unfortunately for the life of me I can't find anything on the internet that tells me how to modify those blank hotkeys. I was watching one video on youtube where someone evidently pressed that hot key and his menu looked even bigger, but unfortunately he just selected one of the links and moved on without explaining how he got those links on there.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

That is a Ja2 1.13 mod feature and has nothing to do with Wildfire. Go to the bears pit forum. if u dont know what that is just google: ja2 bear pit.

I had looked through their site. There is nothing whatsoever on there about any kind of "Ctrl +'.;" bringing up a pop up window. I went through every link on every page and it didn't reference anything like that.

About the closest I could come was this:
23) Dozens of other features that are not listed here
Full mouse wheel support
Camouflage Merc faces
Graphical face gear (gas masks, NVGs, ...) on Merc portraits
etc., etc.

I assume the Ctrl _. is under the etc, etc.

I was hoping someone here might know something else about it since the Bear's pit page hasn't been updated in 4 years or so.

1.13 is best and adds a crapton of features. It is also highly configerable and DRASTICALLY changes gameplay.

Make sure you have the classic DLC installed.(Won't work with wildfire AFAIK) go get the JF2 classic folder, and copy paste it into a new folder on your hard drive that is NOT program files. I've heard there can be issues with having it in that folder. Maybe make a JA2 folder on your hard drive or desktop and stick the folder in there.

Go to Depri's depot, SCI, Vanella and download the lastest one. (lastest at the time is 8555)

more instructions. Extract it over your folder and overwrite. You should be good to go now. I highly reccomend using the ini editor to launch the game as you can adjust certain settings.
