Jagged Alliance 2 - Wildfire

Where is the Queen?
Just clear out the throne room and Deidranna was not there!
Where can I found her?

The Meduna is fully clear, I can train Militia. Basement sectors under Meduna are also cleared.
I read at some forum about fireplace in the piano room, through wich you can find a secret room with the queen. However, I can't do something with it - the cursor stay as usual when I point it to the fireplace...

Any help would be appreciated!

The cursor should turn into the brown arrow like on the border of the sector. If it doesn't work try to go neighbor sector, enter into the basement through the garden again and return to the last sector under ground. Queen should be there.

zumrus, thank you a lot!
This game is a full of surprizes :) In the P3 sector I didn't find any place where the cursor became as a "goto the next level". However, your suggestion to look in the O3 sector worked well. I noticed suspicious broken statue near other statues, throw a grenade into it and here is the goto next level cursor! Hopefully, the Queen will be there :)

Actually, there should be a remote control (on enemy's body) opening this secret passage :)

Hmmm, I didn't see any remote control in any ememies corpses. All I found was 2 keys.
Anyway, the passage from the O3 sector worked well for me - the queen successfully got her reward for all she have done to Arulco :)
Thanks for your advice!

Once in the palace... Look for an underground entrance, if i remember well, is in a fireplace...

Although, there´s more than one entrance... For a surprise attack you could give money to the hobo in Estoni, in some moment he will give you back an electronic card wich you can use later. In the sector with a big garden (like a maze), near the palace, there´s a remote control(random location) who will open a secret entrance in the middle of the maze (statue). You can figure out what´s next...

Seems that in the Wildfire the fireplace entrance works only in one way: when you go up from the basement. This means that you have to go to the tunnel below the garden anyway to finish the game.
The remote control didn't work in my case (Wildfire). You say that you have got an electronic card in Estoni. Should this card make the RC work?

I was reading old websites and the electronic card that Skipper gives you is to open the metal door in Orta, I was wrong, sorry ... Also, you have to give him an article (no money and no matter the status or value) to be able to acquire it . However, it is very useful, because if you do not have it, you must pay the guy at Orta $ 20,000, so you save a lot of money.

To be honest, I don´t recall the bug you mention about the remote control not working in Wildfire... I can´t remember if the moment i used it was playing JA2 original or Wildfire. Also, every time i play i choose a different aproach... Hard to remember to the letter...

even more surprise attack? I don't know if it was changed, but I played this game when it first came out, and you could put a "DEIDRANNA RULES!" Tshirt on, walk to the nearest occupied sector by yourself, and surrender.

eventually, she would come to interrogate you (if you were the IMP). if you have the right kind of merc, you can kill her right there, and end the game! doesn't even matter if you were mortally wounded in the attempt, just so long as she dies before you do, it's game over.

so basically, you could end the game as soon as you find a tshirt. Drassen child slave tshirt factory I think.

I haven't tried this in over 20 years though, so I have no idea if they changed it, though I have seen posts dating back 10 years or so that still talk about doing it successfully.

of course, it takes less than an hour of actual gameplay time to win the game this way, and you end up bypassing 95% of it, so... I would only try it after you finish the game normally.

Its a bug. After interrogating the Queen should dissapear from the sector. But in some cases she stays and you can kill her.
And there is no need to use the t-shirts. It happens independly.

the tshirt made it so they wouldn't shoot at you before the "surrender" option appeared.

No, they wouldn't shoot if there are just one or two mercs in your squad.

no, that's not how it was originally. they may have changed it later, but that's not how it was.

this: "Actually, there should be a remote control (on enemy's body) opening this secret passage :)"

is also incorrect. the remote is in a cabinet in the biggest house in the maze gardens; to the SW. it is not on an enemy. I know, I JUST did that section last night.
