Are you supposed to lose your score if you miss a target you are attempting to hit?

Hi, just a little word to tell you what I'm working on. I will be adding a second level of difficulty to Ace Pilot Europe. After completing the ten missions, you will unlock the difficulty level "way too hard" and its achievements. You will be able to play missions in the order you want since you already finish all of them, but they will be Way too hard. This should increase the replay-ability for this game and give a greater challenge to those who are game god or goddess. Yes, I mean you....

The game is slow to load and while it loads in full screen, it switches to windowed mode with prompting me. Game has unresponsive controls. I cannot select planes and drag and drop doesnt work to control them either. I cannot click on the menu option nor does pressing M do anything. So any settings there may be are unavailable to me. I am reviewing the game for Indie Gems curator. Can you help?...

I think this remains unclear as it essentially makes you surrender the session you are playing. i.e. lose progress, rather than going to some menu that is being promised. Maybe "M for back to Menu" (forfeit game) would be more clearer?

Would be nice to be able to play the game using a controller.
