Any suggestions on how to fix this? other than updating my gpu which is already up to date.
So far the only solution is restarting my pc. Really annoying I get this like 30% of the time.

There is no GTX 850 as there is zero desktop GPU for that gen. There is GTX 850M. What's the driver version you are running and what's your OS? If you have Win 10 FCU only driver from 385 and later works.

Yea 850m, Windows 10. Mine is 385.28

finalement jai trouvé la solution, il faut aller dans compatibilitè du .exe et cliquer sur parametre de rèsolution èlevèe et cliquer remplacement de mise a l,echelle PPP elevèe apli

You need a GTX 1050Ti or better for recommended system requirements, the game doesn't support your GPU at all, you should've looked at the games system requirements first before trying to download it or even attempt to play it.

I don't recommend trying to play this on a old laptop or on a laptop at all.
