Why is the player base so low?

I know anime games dont tend to be popular but only 300 current players and this game is not even that old? Is it dead?

it just re launched, thats why, after the last plublisher ♥♥♥♥ it up, now the devs are plublishing it, so give it time.

It's a single player game, the player base doesn't really matter. The game is 6 years old.

NA server lost many players (not active users). Relauching with Naddic get chance for many people. Go to Discord - this have about 1k people online.

EnMasse may of messed the game up, but the game itself has too many flaws with such little content for how long it has been out. It's not gonna grow just because of the relaunch. You're dreaming a pipe dream.

It doesn't help that old accounts migrated over can't log into the Steam version for whatever reason, despite them saying otherwise. So a lot of the original playerbase is being forced to play through the browser and thus you can't see the true count.

They mentioned the lack of controller support in another thread for the browser version. Which is true. If you're being forced to play on browser as a veteran player, you don't get full controller support. That's actually something built into Steam.
