Agent Costumes
How do you even get ones that you can keep, like the regular Op and Special Op not temp ones.

or like, any costumes that are actually decent looking, like any of the ones that change your portrait/voices, not the store.

Nothing is explained, are they even craftable to some extent?

Well the regular op and special op can be craftable if they are added to an event or bought from other players.
Other good costumes like the ones that have special effects can be bought trough dlcs, emp store or from black market (not recommended because you have to buy the full set piece by piece and that could take a long time)

You can get regular agent costumes from code giveaways and or the dungeon crafting event. Pay attention to those whenever they are available.

To those who have obtained it as mentioned above, they can be sold from the Black Market. This mean either you wait for the event or buy one from another user who did that event long ago.

Special Agent/Operative costumes are available via event as well. As of now its Task Force events. Their accessories can't be sold so you can't get the full costume and mostly just the weapon and full body costume.

Those who missed the character's release, the newly unlockable promotions will be able to obtain it for their respective Task Force event promotion.

For example:

You can't get Luna's Permanent Special Agent costume anymore but this newly released Task Force event is about her therefore you can craft her Special Agent costume until this Task Force event ends. Right now its Task Force Triana Rebellion, Seha and Nata's Special Operative costume can be craftable in few weeks now.

While at the hub do this:

Press P > Character Customization > Image/Pack
Those displayed are the ones that are available in-game that has the visuals and you just need to find them and buy them.

Its mostly the Signature Costumes that has this as you've mentioned.

Its actually explained in the game guide but it was irrelevant.

And can I do any of this before I am level 85?

It's all pretty convoluted. God forbid you get the agent costumes to keep when you get the according promotion.

The guide was outdated and irrelevant. It was published as soon as the regular promotions got released therefore you could keep it. It used to but not anymore. Non the less it was explained in the guide.

Today's event is Triana Rebellion and it only started for Luna. The mechanics of the event is that you get 1 Triana Rebellion Badge per 1 run on standard sectors.

There's 3 CLOSERS per Task Force:
Luna, Seha & Nata (not in order)

Start of the event goes with Luna and ends on the third CLOSER's Task Force promotion being the last then the badges can no longer be obtained.

Go to <MatterMixer v3 'Allan'> find the costume you wanna craft:
Special Agent / Operative Costume Box (Triana Rebellion)

Available crafting count 3/3 (for Luna, Seha & Nata)

If you hover the mouse on the Triana Rebellion Badge it says it'll last for 44 days as of this post so that's the days you have left in crafting it.

based on the mechanics explained above, the answer would be yes. You just need to spam a fast clearable dungeon to grind the tokens then farm it without reaching level 85.

Yeah right now you can only craft permanent SA/SO costumes for Seha, Nata, and Luna. Like 100 dungeon runs for one set good luck. Luna's task force event just started a few days ago, but you can collect the tokens with and craft the costumes for Seha and Nata too.

Unfortunately, you missed Sword and Girls (Yuri, Violet, Bai) and Veteranus (J, Tina, Wolfgang). No idea when there will be an event to craft permanent costumes for them again.

On the upside, the rest of the characters' task force will release sometime after Triana Rebellion and you'll be able to craft their permanent SA/SO costumes the same way. You just have to wait for the events.

As for regular agent/operative costumes, there will probably be a "rampage cube" event or something similar to craft them. They've done the rampage cube event twice before I think. It is annoying that permanent versions only exist via events.

That's a bummer, Tina is my favorite character. Prolly shouldn't bother much with this game. Looks like all the good stuff is long gone.

If you're going to leave because of it then that's cute.

In Code Closers, there's an event where you can craft Special Agent/Operative accessories and sell it at the Black Market. I don't wanna keep your hopes up but who knows if we're gonna get it or not?

It's not the only reason, not sure why there needs to be special events for costumes, that seem like they should be standard, or regularly craftable accordingly to the promotions you get, could have been a nice unlock to look forward to.

The PvP is wack getting paired against nothing but level 85s isn't very fair, especially since I don't even have an 85 yet. Can't get much outta that since I lose
Game is fun with a friend I was playing with, but he doesn't want to play much anymore because he said it got very bland and game got dry after a while because the missions are very repetitive. And I can't say I blame him. Tried to get a few others, to play with, most didn't even want to bother, a few got to levels around 20-30 but stopped because of the reason already listed.

I kept going because that is what I do, I like to give games the best shot I can, but my highest as a level 65, and it just has not improved. It's kind of a shame. But aside from the moves looking flashy and nice for the most part, I can't find much substance here.

Closers isn't really friendly towards new comers, about the repetitive gameplay, well i guess this gameplay fit for some ppl not everyone, the game have many mechanics, it's sometimes frustrating or boring but still sometimes you'll have great time and that's the good point ^^

about the pvp the thing is closers is more pve than pvp, the pvp is probably great (never tried it), but you should first reach lvl 85 for the pvp, since most of the player base have atleast one char lvl 85, you'll probably always encounter lvl 85 sadly

About you're actual level , you'll soon get a new promotion with new skills (at lvl70-71), and when you reach lvl 70 the game will start getting more enjoyable, you'll get some real raid boss(tiamat 70-75 and mephisto vitus at 73-75), after that well you'll get you're lvl 70 stuff through planar gate mission,

once you reached lvl 75 you craft the lvl 75 stuff (and get the core trough a mission), then lvl 77 you get to fight david and irina, then lvl 80 you'll have the contamination (it's grindy af), at the same time the hunter night sector, with Wolfgang and Hoffman raid, at this lvl you are at the actual last sector, then it's just a question of doing your dungeons everyday (note: it wont be the classic dungeon where you oneshot everything)

At this point, try to get a guild with players, ask for help if you get stuck on a boss, and keep going, at this point, it will be a question of wether you just love the game or you like suffering xD

You should try to join a crew too, to get help from the experienced player, and making some possible friend, ofc if you don't feel well in a crew you can just leave it and join another one, i don't think people will blame you (or they are stupid and not kind :c)

/!\ YOU CAN SKIP THIS PART IT'S JUST ME TALKING ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE /!\

I personnally loved this game from the start, i've played it before it came out on NA/EU, but after some much time spent on it, well i can clearly get a view of the whole thing, it's grindy, frustrating and time eating, but in the end i still love this game, sometimes i was getting depressed seeing how freaking long crafting my stuff was, how much Pay 2 progress the game was (with platinum and other little thing), but i had great time, just today i screamed like hell cause i looted cybernetic overdrive cube eye with a friend on discord, seeing boss having random funny bug, my entire squad wiped out because we've done a dumb move, or seeing a new boss, learning his move and getting totally wrecked and laughing about how pittyfull we are, well i'd say it's kinda the same on most of the mmorpg,

You should try to join a crew with active player, try to get along with them etc... if you feel uncomfortable inside the crew you joined, you can just leave it and join another one

Whelp, that's a bummer. Sounds like the game could be better.

Guess imma head out, nice chatting
