Other good costumes like the ones that have special effects can be bought trough dlcs, emp store or from black market (not recommended because you have to buy the full set piece by piece and that could take a long time)
rip I guess
To those who have obtained it as mentioned above, they can be sold from the Black Market. This mean either you wait for the event or buy one from another user who did that event long ago.
Special Agent/Operative costumes are available via event as well. As of now its Task Force events. Their accessories can't be sold so you can't get the full costume and mostly just the weapon and full body costume.
Those who missed the character's release, the newly unlockable promotions will be able to obtain it for their respective Task Force event promotion.
For example:
You can't get Luna's Permanent Special Agent costume anymore but this newly released Task Force event is about her therefore you can craft her Special Agent costume until this Task Force event ends. Right now its Task Force Triana Rebellion, Seha and Nata's Special Operative costume can be craftable in few weeks now.
While at the hub do this:
Press P > Character Customization > Image/Pack
Those displayed are the ones that are available in-game that has the visuals and you just need to find them and buy them.
Its mostly the Signature Costumes that has this as you've mentioned.
Its actually explained in the game guide but it was irrelevant.
It's all pretty convoluted. God forbid you get the agent costumes to keep when you get the according promotion.
Today's event is Triana Rebellion and it only started for Luna. The mechanics of the event is that you get 1 Triana Rebellion Badge per 1 run on standard sectors.
There's 3 CLOSERS per Task Force:
Luna, Seha & Nata (not in order)
Start of the event goes with Luna and ends on the third CLOSER's Task Force promotion being the last then the badges can no longer be obtained.
Go to <MatterMixer v3 'Allan'> find the costume you wanna craft:
Special Agent / Operative Costume Box (Triana Rebellion)
Available crafting count 3/3 (for Luna, Seha & Nata)
If you hover the mouse on the Triana Rebellion Badge it says it'll last for 44 days as of this post so that's the days you have left in crafting it.
based on the mechanics explained above, the answer would be yes. You just need to spam a fast clearable dungeon to grind the tokens then farm it without reaching level 85.
Unfortunately, you missed Sword and Girls (Yuri, Violet, Bai) and Veteranus (J, Tina, Wolfgang). No idea when there will be an event to craft permanent costumes for them again.
On the upside, the rest of the characters' task force will release sometime after Triana Rebellion and you'll be able to craft their permanent SA/SO costumes the same way. You just have to wait for the events.
As for regular agent/operative costumes, there will probably be a "rampage cube" event or something similar to craft them. They've done the rampage cube event twice before I think. It is annoying that permanent versions only exist via events.
That's a bummer, Tina is my favorite character. Prolly shouldn't bother much with this game. Looks like all the good stuff is long gone.
In Code Closers, there's an event where you can craft Special Agent/Operative accessories and sell it at the Black Market. I don't wanna keep your hopes up but who knows if we're gonna get it or not?
It's not the only reason, not sure why there needs to be special events for costumes, that seem like they should be standard, or regularly craftable accordingly to the promotions you get, could have been a nice unlock to look forward to.
The PvP is wack getting paired against nothing but level 85s isn't very fair, especially since I don't even have an 85 yet. Can't get much outta that since I lose
Game is fun with a friend I was playing with, but he doesn't want to play much anymore because he said it got very bland and game got dry after a while because the missions are very repetitive. And I can't say I blame him. Tried to get a few others, to play with, most didn't even want to bother, a few got to levels around 20-30 but stopped because of the reason already listed.
I kept going because that is what I do, I like to give games the best shot I can, but my highest as a level 65, and it just has not improved. It's kind of a shame. But aside from the moves looking flashy and nice for the most part, I can't find much substance here.
Whelp, that's a bummer. Sounds like the game could be better.
Guess imma head out, nice chatting
