ERROR: Timeout waiting for window to load

Whenever I press play, I get an error message stating "Timeout waiting for window to load" instead of the game launcher.

My game has been working fine up till now, what does this error message mean and is there a way to fix it? I have always been playing Closers through Steam, does this happen only happen for players who launch from Steam?

Any help or explanation would be appreciated, thanks!

Well first, game files check (you know properties etc...), second retry until works (worked for me :x ).

You can try to restart your computer too, or your steam, or if you have the courage uninstall and reinstall, that's all i can give you right now, im gonna search some solution, i hope i'll found one ^^

I've got some good news, apparently (not 100% sure), it's because of the connection (too slow or instable), the launcher can't load so it give you that message (pretty logic).

So close any external app capable of using your connection and then retry.

Thanks Auxi for your response, I have tried the methods suggested to no avail. My network is working well but the launcher still wouldn't appear.

I did find a solution though; After pressing 'Play', double-click the EnMasse Launcher icon at the bottom right corner of the task bar and wait a few seconds for the launcher window to appear. A little extra step but worked wonders for me.
