Game not running
After clicking the play button, the loading circle shows and then nothing happens. Never had any problems with the game before. The only changes i have made are a windows re-install and switched from a HHD to a SSD. Already tried verifying/repair from steam and the launcher itself

Is this your first time running CLOSERS?

If so you'd have to restart your PC upon first installation.

https://closers.enmasse.com/download

*PLEASE DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE DIRECTX END-USER RUNTIME AND MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ 2010 SP1 REDISTRIBUTABLE PACKAGE BEFORE PLAYING CLOSERS

Download the prerequisite(s) using the links above and if possible reinstall them if there's any file damage to begin with.

i disabled my anti virus (avast) and firewall (comodo) and the game launched. However when i open the list of blocked applications, i could not find closers

When you say "nothing happens".
Does the Play button remain as "Play" or "Playing"?

It switches to playing then the launcher closes. At this point i assume that another window will launch containing the game.

The game opens only if my antivirus and firewall are not running

Just put closers file in your anti virus exception,it'll fix everything normally

An anti-virus shouldn't interfere with the game launch but it seems it did in your case. My Kaspersky has no issue with it at all.

Its possible that the built-in anti-cheat program (XIGNCODE) have incompatibilities with Avast.

Adding steam to avast's exception works. Thanks
