I have a friend who is in my crew and plays both servers so some information were provided by him and confirmed things for me.
What I know about CODE is that its doesn't region block anyone. They've been there first as a private server yet its illegal but it doesn't matter cause "its private". This means they're ahead of the updates compared to here and have more player base due to no region blocking.
They have more affordable rates in terms of premium currency so you can literally compete with whales if you just wanna spend as a way to "donate". They may have stamina but they can be exploited with affordable stamina potions.
I'm pretty sure you'll have a good time in CODE CLOSERS but if you wanna make investments, I'd suggest you'd go here as its integrated with Steam and officially licensed by NADDIC. The information I gave you is 50-50 in terms of pros, cons and investment.
In other words, as Waryth said, go for WORLD if you want to work hard for good stuff. Otherwise, go for C:C if you want to be strong really quickly.
now the official NA/WORLD servers may be a little behind but we still get updates pretty fast. this version of Closers is also completely free to play as well, as for pve content I can confirm you can run all of it without having to spend a penny if you don't want to. money is more for getting the super cool fashion costumes. pvp might be a little more pay to win idk I never really pvp at all cause in most mmos it is a toxic community run by whales that pour lots of money into being perfect. so if your not looking to be the best at everything or top rank in pvp this version of the game will be completely free for you. personally I like EME, considering some of the other awful publishers like Nexon that will gut your wallet, KOG Games that have very crappy customer support, and Gameforge that cares more about your wallets then the players we could have gotten a lot worst. EME is not perfect but they still release content quickly and have always responded when I send them a support ticket.
a lot of this is just my personal opinions as someone who has dealt with crappy service from a publisher (Nexon mostly) so if anyone else has better experiences with some of these publishers please post about it. I admit I am not a hardcore Code Closers player but to me EME has always made Closers look better. either way welcome to the Closers community
CODE CLOSERS = Pirate server
unless you bring McDoanalds logic into it, then sure, the THIEFS cry illegal to someone elses "i did it 1st before you,' copycat idea thief takes someones elses and pretends to have 'rights' just like what happened to the poor McDonald brothers.
Its been developed by Naddic Games & NK Studio, these developers only let game publishers to have license in hosting their own local server in a specific region such as:
En Masse Entertainment (NA & EU), HappyTuk (JP), Megaxus (ID). Code Closers on the other hand got no game publisher nor was it licensed officially by the developers of this game.
Code Closers got their own updates through their own means and NOT directly from the game's developer. This could be from reverse engineering the game client from other servers or hacking into the game's servers to get the code they need.
The "PRIVATE SERVER" is a mere scapegoat when its accessible PUBLICLY.
accessible publicly =/= private server
They contradict its statement so in terms of legalities they lose here. It is illegal as the microtransaction you pay there doesn't go directly to the game developers but to themselves.
The game publishers won't sue them as for one, fanboys like you wouldn't migrate to the official ones as a protest. Second would be all other game publishers are struggling with their own player base, to sue CODE CLOSERS will cost them money.
They're simply waiting for CODE to fall down on its own due to unprofessional marketing compared to this experienced game publishers. In reality, all game publishers are struggling.
To sum it all up, official servers or not they're all struggling. CODE CLOSERS is indeed an illegal server and is killing the development of the game.
otherwise just ignore the trash
You could also end up getting your information stolen from you like credit card info etc.
