Trailer starting with 66L is a big hint lol.

I'm pretty happy with the lineup, pretty much exactly what I expected with meg instead of fediel. Looking forward to their kits, Ilsa bottom right special pose might be a minion summon, galleon 100% zoner/setplay poses, and meg might be a modal/buff/resource character with ursula. I can also imagine wilnas having a heat buildup mechanic (that's all he's about) and/or an anji-like rekka.

This is actually giving me hope, if they really do something significant regarding 66L I'll definitely return.

well yes, Uno/Anre was the odd pick for vanilla gbvs.
though if we're talking popularity, 2B definitely has plenty of that. but i do agree she has a very out of place gameplay style

so on that note, it's good to see that at least there's no guest character for season 2 to fully focus on gbf's roster. i still think meg is a strange choice though but shrug, maybe there're enough meg fans out there

she is cool enough, i had never seen her before since i'm not a granblue gacha player, i just hope her gameplay is my cup of tea.

True.. I think guest characters aren't great for most games. Tekken is like the only exception.
SF6 is a good example, they're missing out on a lot of characters due to adding 2 guest characters in a year. Even GGST, there's just too many characters people want (Jam for example) to have on a guest or even new character. And I think the same thing would happen to GBVSR with it's big roster of popular characters. Afaik at least.

I can't speak much for the new characters but I quite like "Wilnas" His name is funny. Ilsa looks cool, but her top is kind of weird... Galleon looks really bland. First impressions are she's a fusion between Narmaya and Yuel (at least in the pic from twitter I saw https://x.com/granblue_en/status/1890981848366403708 she might be much different in game) Meg is mostly cool. I would like to see her stocking? (unclear what that is) on one her legs cover both of them bottom to top. Or just have her wear some baggy brown pants, it's weird how much AND how little she has on at the same time. Other than that her colors are really cool and I like both the shark friend and the knife a lot.

Fair enough, I'll admit the double digits prediction did not come true. However, 430 players a mere 9 days before Season 2 releases is still terrible numbers. I'll give it a good 9 days before I give my final verdict on this game, but it's not looking good for you GBVSR fanboys.
