limited time skins

can limited time skins in the battle pass still be acquired at the end of the game's shelf life? how does it usually work with gbv?

Probably not since they want to profit off of FOMO or they will sell it all as dlc in like a few years or something but I highly doubt it though since this game's basic progression system is heavily focused on online play sadly.

Skins that were exclusive to the Battle Pass in the original GBVS were not made available later as DLC (unfortunately), however to my knowledge they are unlockable in GBVSR. Though I'd guess GBVSR will just be a repeat of that, with Battle Pass stuff not being released as DLC later... And as far as I know they don't do re-runs on top of that.

iirc there was something on one of their teasers for narmaya's BP outfit about that BP rewards would be available in the rupie shop once the BP period ends so let's hope that's the case

"Some" meaning things like the Narmaya skin might remain unobtainable, but we'll have to wait and see once the battle pass expires.

I doubt they will make BP character skin available for Rupies. It's the main attraction and final level reward of a battle bass. If it turns out you can eventually buy BP skins for in-game currently, nobody is going to be incentivized to buy a BP anymore, and those who did are going to feel they wasted their money on buying it in the past. So yeah, wouldn't hope on it too hard.

If they do allow them to be purchased from the Rupies shop, it'll probably cost some absurd amount of rupies like the dlc characters are (I heard they're about 36000 rupeis a piece).

How much you want to bet the "some" refers to only the red colors (Color 19) from the Battle Pass and nothing else?

I'm late picking up the game - was there ever any word on how the BP skins will be obtainable after the BPs end? I had to hurry up and buy the BP and buy most of the BP levels (unfortunately) to get Narmaya's skin since I started way late. I'd love to know if it will eventually be available in the game unlockable or as paid DLC or whatever.

I hate when games turn into jobs so I'd rather not have to log in every single day and do dailies to get a skin that I still have to pay for on the premium BP.

Also I saw some other posts that the costumes from the first GBVS are included in Rising as unlockables, is there a list anywhere of which skins are in the game (besides everybody's defaults + the uncensored ones of course).

The original GBVS didn't have costumes, only palettes and weapon skins (plus titles). So it should be something like colours 19-21 and a bunch of weapon skins, all available in the Rupie Store in GBVSR. "Original" outfits were an option in the settings that you could unlock through RPG mode, but it's available from the start in Rising.

To my knowledge, only EX colours are actually exclusive to tournament players, but they'll likely return for GBVSR tourneys. Then there's also the whole Battle Pass thing, but only time will tell how that goes...

The dlc are available for a ridiculous amount of in game currency
The blue skins are available for a ridiculous amount of in game currency
Maybe the character skins will be available one day for a ridiculous amount of in game currency
Worst case scenario mod your game to replace the default skin with the character skin. I can't imagine it would be that hard
