Yeah i have the same problem in Guilty Gear but solved it

Try reastarting the game and changing or reseting the settings. I'm on 4K and it's supported

This seems to be a problem I run into with a lot of Japanese-developed games I play on Steam. The first run doesn't give you all the resolution options, so you have to close the game and then boot it up a second time for it to work.

Had this issue with Fate/Extella Link, God Eater 3, DNF Duel, just about every licensed anime game, etc.

yep, or DPI scaling is screwed up, or it doesn't work in fullscreen (borderless gaming ftw). Or your controller is screwed up (thank you steam input for solving that). Idk what it is with japanese devs and these specific issues.

I've also run in to the issue where it just refuses to recognize my controller

In fact, when i unplugged it to plug back in for Granblue, it literally shut down my PC

Pretty funny, but besides that it works as intended now

Right click on the game in your steam library
> Go to properties
> under Launch Options

-screen-width 2560 -screen-height 1440

There you go.
