The most insane price I saw in a fighting game

yeah another regional price topic, these prices are ridiculous here on my country. The base game alone is already insane, it's more expensive than Elden Ring and Street Fighter 6 at the release day, it's more expensive than the direct dollar conversion. The season pass is the SAME price of the entire game (if you buy it outside the Deluxe Edition, which is also extreme expensive), that means you're literally buying the game twice. Let's also remember that this isn't a game made from zero (even if was, this price is still ridiculous), big part of the game use the first one as a base (same character models, stages, musics, moves) but yet the price is above a full complete new game.

Another thing, I know Arc System and Capcom love doing this, but I will always consider selling colors one of the most stupid things in a game. It takes a person 1 hour to know how to mod and make the color palette by himself, and even less time to just go out and see color mods to download from other people who did for free. The devs just change the RGB slider on a few colors on the color palette, something that takes little to no effort, and SELL for the most abusive price in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FULL PRICE GAME.

Unlike some of the other games, you CAN obtain these DLC colors ingame with the ingame currency. The fact of the abusive price for them (if you decide to buy them as DLC with real money) still remains, but I do give a point for being able to get them ingame.

Let's not forget this game will have battle pass, I don't even want to know for how much they will charge that and I doubt you can get you currency back after completing (like in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Fortnite, a free game, where you just need to buy 1 battlepass, if you complete that you can get the next battle pass for free since you get back all your currency, same for Dead by Daylight). Nothing confirmed for now, but looking at the prices and the fact they will include costumes on the battle pass I highly doubt you will get your currency back. So yeah, even more money.

This was my most hyped game, and yeah the game looks beautiful and great, I played the last beta for so many hours, was really excited to play the full release. I never expected that in the end the price was going to be the thing that would complete kill my hype.

And no, I'm not going to play the free version, not after I got everything on the previous game, I don't want to have extreme limited stuff, my mains are not even on the rotation.
I was willing to buy it at launch, but these prices are just beyond insane.

Yup. In some countries SF6 Deluxe is cheaper than the base version of this one. And it's not like Capcom has a great track record of generous regional pricing, they just do the bare minimum. Game is dead on arrival in certain regions...

Ngl, if I wasn't going into this game for the meme, maybe I'd be offended. Gran's my main so I'll probably not suffer too much with characters being on rotation but I guess I'll find out.

My condolences to you, and to any part of the world where the game's dead on arrival. I tend to go ask people in facebook and discord groups I'm in if they wanna throw hands, so even for, Blade Strangers, for example, a super dead on arrival game, I had people I could play with. I just needed to schedule a time like its D&D all over again.

Cheaper region price is a courtesy, not an obligation. In they end they make more money with people who are willing to buy it, even if you can't accept that.

I guess you didn't even read. I already tested the game, I have the original game and I played over 20 hours of the beta of this one. I'm glad you're happy with the prices and being able to pay the game twice for the season pass and pay high ammount for just one color, good for you man.

Ever cared to do the math on the money you spent on all the games you don't even like? You literally do not play them and yet you buy them. Dozens and hundreds of games. But then you dare come here and complain about the price tag of this game you supposedly want to play? Or do you do this with any game you actually end up playing a lot? Actually, many CN players who complained about the GBVSR's price and left negative reviews are from GBVS. In the PC version's lobby of GBVS, CN Region has the most people(I think that is the only active region). Who would care about these issues if they weren't genuinely playing the game? On the first day.

Alright, so you're stalker, cool, but try to use a little more of your mind. Do you think I got all these games in a single year? I've been here for 11 years on the plataform. And do you think I got none of them when it was on sale? And none of them was a gift? And what, I need to play 500 hours of each game just because you want it? There's like 5 games that was around the price of this one that I got it, and it was cheaper.

And when I said this WAS THE SAME GAME? You really don't know how to read, I told big part of the first game is used AS A BASE for this one. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, is so hard to read. But ok, I already accept you're here just to be negative about it.
