What is the difference between $49.99 and the Pass that is $49.99

Seems a little absurd the game has a price for $49.99 but doesnt list the contents, but sells a character pass for the same price that seems to be only DLC characters.

The difference is that one is the game and one is just the characters. It's ridiculous. I really hope nobody is supporting this crap.

Its to encourage you to get the deluxe edition for "only" 25 more so you get the pass for half the price if you get the deluxe edition.

You get 4+ characters on the base game compared to the last game but the pass gives you 6 more characters for the same price!

People on discord said that this is the deluxe pass. A cheaper normal pass is going to come out later. You can see the contents when you click it, includes vikala avatar, gran and djeeta eternal skin and some colors.

Except that it's also the same game with some new characters. I don't mind paying for the new chars but not paying full price for the game I already have.

Just seems super neg why not pay the $75 to get the full roster + the delux pass for basically $25?

True but people might not have an extra 25 for the deluxe. Which is why they also sell the DLC Characters separately to allow people to purchase what characters they want or slowly get them all without the need of a Character Pass.

DLC simply cannot be sold at the price of the whole game, even if it’s a SUPER MEGA DELUXE XXX TURBO edition, it doesn’t matter. Publishers who engage in such practices should be punished. This should not be encouraged.

the difference is i'm waiting on a sale and buying everything, 100$ for basically GB versus plus some few new stuff is absurd.

While I am indeed overjoyed to see this, I'm going to be waiting on a sale too. These prices are simply insane for what they are asking currently. I know it's supposed to be a "new game", but at the end of the day it's simply Granblue Fantasy Vs with a bunch of tweeks, features, and a new character or two.... That's it. MAYBE if I had the spare cash to throw around, but even then I probably wouldn't do it. Too early to invest so much.

yeah I can't justify $50 on an anime fighter let alone $50 on anime fighter DLC lol. Shoulda just went the league of legends route and let people buy characters for $6, then put in tons of skimpy outfits for $5 each.
