I've been dealing with something for a long time, so i'mma just be brief about it.
Now people wanna mention how good the Granblue Community is in and sing its praises alot. But there's actually things that get covered up and twisted, and one of those things are stuff that happened to me.

I endured harassment for the past 4 years over a Granblue Character and Primal Beast named Satyr and it was because of this character, that people held misunderstandings about Primal Beasts. Because of lines in an event people didn't have the reading comprehension to understand. Which is ironic cuz some of these same people will at times be calling others tourists. I have had disgusting things that have nothing to do with this character or the lore be forced onto me in multiple ways. It can be viewed in this document: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1piz002jMZ-f3kRscNVaxv3Ft3iRKc_LnNR19diTQAQo
(The doc has alot of pages but its really no different from a picture book with links, so don't downplay it for the page number that is there, because its been 4 years.)

I love the lore of this game, and have been helping people better understand that lore. But these crazy, stalking, rumor spreading individuals try to twist everything about my situation and the character, then proceed to turn it all into a joke as they get away with everything. Because I don't have a voice. People also don't like it when others do this and even people in Japan disliked it when people acted this way.

(They also went as far as to false report my Twitter account over being told they were wrong about things regarding me and the character's lore):

The fact of the matter is that she is a biological woman, and Primal Beasts are Immutable. But what is forced onto me is that she is the opposite of these things when it isn't true and they just have not read the story. The immutability of a Primal Beast is the thing that sets them apart from everything and anyone else in the story and is a source of suffering or strife and character development that the race goes through.

Edit: There's someone spamming Jester awards obnoxiously some of which who may have commented here, so pay it no mind as it has no baring on the information given here. It really just backs up what i'm saying more.

Edit2: People from twitter are now flooding here in their rage over their gender/sex obsession with the character and proving my point.

[More proof of the post being raided by people twisting the situation]:

[The people that raided this post are now twisting and lying about the situation, but compare what they're saying to the document and you'll easily notice they're lying. I will not be interacting with these crazy gender/sex cyber terrorists.]

In the GBVSR Server you can actually see people like that there as well that resemble the people in the Doc and I describe a person from there too who is no longer there. But I was told to put it together as I needed a means of defending myself against attacks that were happening towards me.

( I'm not seeking advice either, like I said its been 4 years and i've practically did it all. I'm just putting this out there, because people have been rumor spreading and it makes me feel nauseous. )

Never interact with fan communities, they all suck and are toxic no matter the fandom. Get a small group of friends that like the same things and keep it that way.

I have something like that. But the problem is, the rumors keep being spread about me and this character unabated. There was a person who, is the source of the harassment and people would parrot, tried to get me blacklisted from places with things he tried to put out there about me which made no kinds of sense at all. People came after me, and harassed me even further. They twisted how I liked this character into an obsession over genitals the character never had given she is a Woman. Anything that interacted with this character got reduced to gens, which is also another issue that I tried to help others understand in showing that the lore was saying something different and much better and so others wouldnt end up doing what these people have been doing to me. As well as having more people to speak with, instead other feeling very uncomfortable when it comes to what these people do when it comes to that character.

People would stay silent too because they felt there was nothing that can be done, and when I tried to get someone to cover this, they wouldn't do it because "Granblue is niche".

well, its more something like

"Never interact with deep fan communities, especially from a game that is basically an half baked isekai where you teen dies and get carried to superhero by a loli superpowerful support girl"

Gacha communities will always have big issues, especially in the west.

aren't western gacha communities just generally known for being unhinged, especially in the US

because the first mention of gender says it all
hard for those people to know how to enjoy any medium nowadays

Yep, and come back to the same things. Very funny joke man. You're so smart. Especially given that I wasn't asking for advice.

Yeah, people were trying to shoehorn that so hard and yet it was completely irrelevant. It got me wrapped up in things I would've rather not see -- ever and all because I held interest in that character, and other people were getting tired of it. Even people in Japan were tired of it. It was like a horrible Domino Effect. People tried to call me transphobic over that character too because of the person people were parroting, which is insane because she wasn't trans to begin with and can't read. Primals are immutable, which means its impossible.

That doc, and how long this went for really just shows how long people have been getting away with things as well as their inability to read as they fall for what other people say and twist about me.

People see things as perfect regarding the community, but it really just isn't.
It's why im just interacting with the JP people over them and being taught the language. Though im also learning it to learn more about the game and such.

idk who your talking to to think this community's perfect but 1 you need to stop talking to them and 2 they need to get a mental revaluation

I'm saying that the community isn't flawless. Bad things do happen in it. If it was so perfect, people wouldn't have been letting other people run all over me and throwing it all under the rug to be twisted and misconstrued.

People staying silent was actually counterproductive as things got worse for me. It is also shown that I don't need to interact for these things to happen.

Nah, the old Berserk fandom (before Miura died) was pretty chilled. You could laugh at pretty much anything. But in general you're right, the bigger the brand the worse the fandom.

A large chunk of the EN fanbase misinterpreted a scene so it could satisfy their futa fetish and another chunk thought it somehow thought it makes her trans, so yeah, they're pretty unhinged
