Failed to save System Save Data

im having trouble with the game, when i open it, it has a message saying "failed to Save System Sava Data" and if i click yes it just repeats it. if i said no the game proceeds as normal but the popups keeps coming out after each game. someone please help.

Never seen this but my first guess would be a permission issue?
Sounds like the game is trying to create local save file but couldn't write to the disk.

Perhaps try running as admin, or check if you have any other program/security settings preventing the game from writing to disk.

Sounds like a permission issue, yeah. Is your AppData folder write-protected? The game should write data in the AppData/Local/GBVSR folder.

no, i checked the folders and it does not locked behind special permissions. should i try just deleting everything on the SaveGames Folder and then Verifying integrity?

Then I guess try deleting the "GBVSR" folder under AppData/Local/ (make a backup just to be safe)
You can def try verifying the integrity of the game files although I'm not sure how much that's gonna help in this case. The fact it's failing to create a save file is pretty odd and likely has more to do with local configurations within the computer itself.
