2b moves and mashing

as soon as this character came out nothing but mashing in ranked literally overloaded kit double jump her hurt box just disapears wtf her range is just dumb and why is it they thought having a lightning flash run was a good idea.

The run has a slow startup and she doesn't have a 66L or good ultimate skills so it kind of balances things out. She's very unique but not crazy by any means.

She's not strong but she's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring to play against. Now that she's the FOTM pretty much every match I play is against a 2B and her moveset is absolutely boring to deal with and to witness. Even Gran's combos look cooler than her combos.

the way people say she doesn't have a 66L is funny when you realize her M pretty much moves you the same distance as the average 66L and can continue the autocombo even on whiff

Her M is punishable on block however, so she doesn't have a throw vs 5M/5H mixup after connecting with it.

66L being -2 instead of +2 would completely kill the move. It's good because it's plus. Her 5L is +2 but doesn't have the range of the average 66L. Many characters have good M buttons. She can continue auto combo on whiff, but that's the trade-off she gets for lacking the best move in the game.

We have literal statistics, straight from the devs, showing 2B is as strong or stronger than Nier.

Gotta love being slammed from s++ all the way down to s+3 and counting all because 2B is a top tier character who is extremely privileged and can whiff literally every normal and you still have to be terrified to go in. Oh, and you lose every clash since mashing like an ape beats throw. Guess I better pick Seox or Zeta or not even bother.

Very cool. Makes me wonder why I even bothered wasting my time on anyone but a top 3 when they just randomly decide to put up a character that is nonsense and has insane frame data and damage. Maybe this actually is a Happy Chaos situation where all the simps simp and decide that he's not busted when he's top tier by a mile

Link? I can't find what you're talking about.

There's no way she's as strong as Nier though. If there are a lot of master 2B's, it's all master rank players using her as an alt.

It's all master rank players smurfing, it's not 2b. If she was bottom 1, you'd still lose, it's a skill difference.

I also hated Automata btw and I think 2B is a shallow character. Anything I'm saying is because I think it's true, not because I like 2B.

Where are those statistics? AFAIK that's just people from Masters smurfing 2B. ♥♥♥♥, even I do that. I got Soriz to Masters some time ago and hopped between four different characters in two weeks.

But if you show me numbers with a credible source, I stand corrected. My original point still stands, though. I think 2B is a problem just based on the fact that her gameplay is boring as ♥♥♥♥. As a side note, you can keep your passive aggressive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to yourself.

Everyone and their Grandma is playing 2B right now, ofc she'd have more players in Masters. Show me a character with a low pick rate AND a high number of Master players and that might mean something.

Statistics don't mean squat if you don't know how to interpret them.

Anila matchup against 2B is literally hopeless. You can't press anything since she'll just beat you from a range. M spam will counter your every move. You can't throw projectiles since she'll counter with whip. You can't go in since she'll just press H or M. She has like one million pressure resets which put her in perfect range for continuing her pressure it doesn't matter if she's slightly minus there.
I don't really understand how anyone can defend a character design like this. Why her whip move is so fast AND ignore projectiles AND give her projectile immunity AND plus on block AND have pretty much zero recovery if she whiffs? Why she has double jump AND air hover AND her j.H hitbox is so huge and leads into full combo on hit?
It's like devs only cared about coomers having fun mashing with their waifu so who cares how frustrating it is to play against such character, right?
