Post-Match screen lingers (Replay issue?)

I'm having an issue where after the match, the screen lingers as it tries to upload/create a replay (there's a up-arrow symbol on the top left corner) for a prolonged period of time (it then says fail to save replay). This makes it impossible to rematch my opponent because the connection times out before i even get to the menu to rematch. I'm playing from Australia which I know has always had issues with fighting games so I don't know if this is the cause (The match itself can play out fine though). Anyone else have this issue or able to resolve it?

i usually press triangle, which open whatever data it was , then close that menu

I've turned off steam cloud save and i think that alleviated the issue (in that it no longer fails to create the replay) but It still takes quite a bit of time to create the replay. At this point it's up to luck whether people are willing to stick around.
(never mind, the issue is still occuring. still says 'failed to create replay')

This works 100% of the time as a workaround. Press whichever button for data and then return and you regain control 🙏👍
