I lost like 70 some odd games in a row before I got my first win in that game. I was actually fairly decent at Capcom vs SNK 2 and the Street Fighter Alpha series, but the genre has changed so much since then, it took a while to sort it all out.
As long as you don't fear losing, you'll eventually get better :)
One thing I'll add is, personally I think the goal of fighting game in the beginner to intermediate level isn't actually to win (as counter intuitive as that might sound). Rather, the main goal is to strive for self improvement, and winning is a byproduct of this journey.
If you're able to get into this mindset, defeats will feel far less frustrating.
Now, that's not to say you'll never get frustrated playing as humans inherently don't like to lose, so take a break every now and then when needed. This is how I personally went from feeling super intimidated by fighting games to actively playing it as my main game now.
Have fun, buddy. I am losing a lot myself but having a blast. I even managed to evade a raging strike. It is so rewarding. =O
