Gay isn't woke necessarily and black crotch voids aren't woke.

I'm not an expert on the franchise or devs or even this game, but I haven't sensed anything woke myself.

The only things that i'd consider "woke" is the black void in the figure mode (which is CERO's fault and not the west's) and some changes that they did to localization.
If you don't like those, there's a mod to remove the void and you can swap the voices to japanese, which im pretty sure have their own subtittles (At least the first game did)

Afaik there are only the wrestler and the alchemist guy. That's all. Some people trying to make it seem that some characters are lesbians or gay, but it's merely their headcanon.

Ladiva is a really good trans representative, very much loved by the community, but people are still trying to claim the cute chars as if they were trans, when they're not.

You clearly don't know too much about Cag lore. There's no genderbending with her. She didn't transform into a girl. She legit creates a new body and chose the gender to be female, because she wants to be a girl. While obviously not a realistic representation, she has closer ideals to trans people than you or me. She is essentially a "what if I could become a biological girl" situation. Which is why a lot of trans people like her character. You can deny this if you want, but you can't change those facts.

Because you'd be lying if you think a person who wants to be a biological girl can't identify with a character that can become a biological girl.

Games are an escape from reality for everyone, not just yourself.

A male getting into the body of a female is the definiton of a genderbend... She wanted to be CUTE not a girl specifically. (It's so funny to me that you mentioned not knowing about her lore, and you got wrong such a crucial part of it)
But since you wanna play with semantics, have it your way, you're right, so we're both wrong.
"Games are an escape from reality for everyone, not just yourself." So you introduce reality and gender identity politics in the game and your comment to bring reality into everyone's escapism...

She is loved by most, if not everyone, in the community tho. It's a ray of sunshine and positivity, and people love that about her.
