Report a translation problem
You can unlock customization (like colors and weapons) for characters you play as, but you can't unlock the characters themselves, so you're stuck with whatever's free.
You can just check their site for more detailed version differences.
And yeah, regional prices are atrocious, this game costing as much as 2 BG3s is unacceptable. So free version all the way %)
You get 1 permanent free character, Gran and 3 that rotate.
