Specifically loading issue, it takes forever just to move between menus and post matches take a while with what I'm assuming is because the game is updating player information. Once you do get the rematch / return option 2 out of 3 times you'll just get connection lost and sometimes get sent back to the title screen entirely.
Hell I get locked out the game sometimes with unable to use online features and I just have to wait for it to magically fix itself. This was not an issue during the second beta.

Game is fun to play, but only the times when I do get to play.

That's a thing? I've been playing online for 9 hours+ and this is the first I hear about this

The more I see your issues, the more it seems to be your connection.

The only issue I had with the game, and it was only once, it's that after a match, I couldn't select to return or to fight against the same dude a second match, and it solved itself by just alt-tabbing out and in of the game.

Are you playing in your region? How bad is the ping in your matches?

I don't have this issue either and noticed Aphelion is from EU as well

My guess is that PH suffers the same curse AU players have. They have to use Asia region which connects you with a wide scope of players that cause connection issues

Maybe you could try the japanese region? I'm not sure if the connection would be more stable with them

Most games are 60~100, yes I'm playing on my region
and no as far as I can tell I'm not the only one experiencing this issue.

I'm very much convinced it's either the region you're playing on, or your own connection.
My matches are all 30 to 50 ms, and the biggest one was at 100 ms.
That, added to all your issues being connection related, it's very telling.
I'd try what Gebba suggested and connect to a different region. It can't be worse than what it is atm after all.

Then something weird is happening here, it sounds like the connection issue is on your end but i am assuming you don't normally have this problem...

I could only think to try and verify integrity of gamefiles (scan for corruption) but that probably wouldn't do anything

I'm having this same problem, launching the game takes 10+ minutes just to get past the connecting screen, and then each input making my way through the UI takes another 2-3 minutes each, but as soon as I'm actually in a game it runs completely fine, 0 delay at all so it cant be connection issues (I'm also using ethernet that I have never had issues with before on any other game or online feature). And when i manage to get into a game and it ends my game freezes on the victory/defeat screen, so by the time the rematch or return screen has loaded the timer has long ran out and the opponent is already gone. I only started having any of these issues today, yesterday it ran completely fine with no issues at all, and I am playing on the right servers (from UK playing in Europe rooms)

Me too, the gameplay ingame and oppenent connection is always crisp, its just getting to the rematch screen and just simply logging in is a complete pain to do
I'm cool with losing 80% of my ranked matches, but its an extra kick in the balls having to wait longer just to hit that runback

loading issue doesnt exist? the initial boot up connection to the server takes maybe 15-20 seconds from hitting play on steam so this is literally a non issue and sounds more like a hardware thing

I very rarely get a disconnect after a match, but other than that I don't have any issues (playing in EU region).

On the contrary, coming from Strive, I was actually very positively surprised by how quick the loading in this game is.^^
