If we were to compare her to some other characters though... she falls short. Nier does 33% damage per combo anywhere on the screen, Nier has a reversal that leads to 33% damage as well as midscreen vortex. If Zooey's mixups are blocked, she needs to be careful and set everything up again, while Nier can just keep going and attempt even more mixups. So it's not hard to see how Zooey falls short compared to other characters.
But if you're A-rank, these character differences are largely irrelevant.
from my pov, you have to work your butt off to pull some decent combos
