Unless it's Gutz....
Ok.
Where is my Feather tough? I've been waiting for him since GBVS, and he fits perfectly in a FG.
Not any of the fantasy setting characters, not even the fantasy 2B knock-off he made. No, he needs the sex bot he beats off to.
Not to mention the endless merchandise it sold. Financial results speak for themselves. People love the franchise and the character.
I'm more surprised that she is coming to a game that Arc Systems is making. I don't think they ever had a guest character at 2B's level of popularity before.
Granblue Fantasy has always had the strangest and most eclectic collabs: Code Geass, Doraemon, Pretty Cure, Cardcaptor Sakura, Kimetsu no Yaiba, Shingeki no Kyoujin, One Piece, Bobobo-bo, GIn Tama, Final Fantasy XI, Jujutsu Kaisen off of the top of my head, to say nothing of collabs with other Cygames franchises like Shadowverse, Priconne or Umamusume.
So yeah, something like this is par for the course in Granblue. One can only hope that GBVSR doesn't end up becoming some sort of Type Lumina redux.
My previous post was referring to Arc Systems specifically, the fighting game studio itself ('cause cygames themselves aren't the studio behind GBVSR). Their past titles aren't really known to have guest characters at this calibur is what I"m saying.
