Well, the ball is in the devs' court here. Hopefully they'll come around the feedback from the beta and find a middle ground that'll please the bigger part of the player base, instead of the tone-deaf answer that FKHR provided in regards to the input drama.

You also got some really cool ideas you can use there too. Like Milleore and Sahil Lao as a duo fighter focused on zoning and mobility, or Balurga with her claw arm and ideas that could come from that, or add Lunalu's self-insert alt as a pseudo-joke character, or add Bridgette with a unique moveset derived from slower long-reach attacks with her spear and shorter swifter ones with her sword, or Yodarha, since he's going to be in re:link, could get with a moveset somewhere between Seox and Narmaya. Those are but a few ideas though.
Swimsuits/summer skins are a DLC pack I can see coming from miles away. Get ready for summer Belial as a monkey's paw part of that wish though, lmao.
Dual spears... nice, could do something really neat with that. Could also have her grow stronger the longer a match has lasted, though that may encourage defense too much and the devs are trying to make the game more offense-focused as said in interviews.
Your mistake is expecting or considering Rising to have the status of "update". Clearly you didn't follow everything that's been going on.

And I'm looking forward to more news on ReLink myself, especially news and footage detailing the combat and gameplay loop more, maybe even a demo proper, so people stop comparing it to the trash pile that is Tales of Arise. Only thing the two games have in common is being made in UE5.
