After giving up my own attempts, I have tried 4 different youtube walkthroughs, each one 5 different times. Every time I lose by a good 10 seconds, meanwhile the guide shows the person finish with 30 seconds to spare.. I don't even see how I can shave off any margin of error at this point. Literally nothing works.

Yes, I'm using fast foward. Yes, I'm not pausing. I'm doing exactly what these guides show, yet their success is my failure. The walkthrough videos I tried were from 2013 and 2014, the most recent available (not all were Steam version, but some were).

I am all out of ideas, and this one level is going to be the only one I can't 3-star.

Can anyone please tell me which method they used to beat this garbage ♥♥♥♥ing level.

I started with the solution from the strategy guide by Gamer Guides dot com, and found a way to improve on it, going from just a few seconds to spare, to finishing with 25 seconds on the clock. Here's the link:

This solution does use the Zap Tower, but does not require items. I would suspect if you used a few Spanish Flu or FIre Fountains, you would be able to manage to beat this one. I'm not sure why your system wouldn't behave the same as those in the videos, assuming the same steps were followed.

Yes, this strategy works great and doesn't require you to buy a 6,000 coin tower to even try it. Don't even bother with the others
