Tesla Tower damage stack?

Hi, Do you need to space out Tesla towers ?
Units seem to turn blue when hit. One would assume that since the devs said that no tower stacks damage hitting a unit that has turned blue again counts as stacking?

The tesla towers that hit multiple enemies does not stack. There is a tooltip somewhere that says it does not. It might be in the "?" above the tower, but I don't remember where I read it.

Thanks, I figured since it did such high damage, surrounding a power tower with Tesla, would be the best damage you could do in the game. But it didn't seem that way. I've since figured out that the power tower doesn't really increase damage at all, all it really does it save you some $ since it adds power, costs less, but you lose 1 placement, so overall you end up with same result just cheaper.
