How can i set the resolution to 640x480 and custom the graphics settings?
The lowest resolution i can choose is 800x600. I remember i could lower the game's resolution in the first game.
I want to run the game with custom graphics. I tried to edit them in
my documents>my games>unreal engine> zc2game>game>ZC2SystemSettings.ini
But it doesn't work, every time i try it the game rewrite the archive. How can i custom the graphic settings?

You could try right clicking ZC2 in the binaries folder, go to properties, then compatibility tab, then click run in 640x480 resolution and see if this helps. But if you had to run ZC1 at lowest settings, I doubt you will be able to run this one smoothly. It's way more demanding.

I ran the first game at better settings. I saw a gameplay video on youtube where a guy was playing it in a laptop with almost the same specs as mine, but with custom settings and on 640x480. That's why i need to change them. It's not only resolution, i would need to turn other settings off too. I will try your tip and see if helps, thanks.

Didn't work. The game's resolution remains the same.

After editing the .ini file, right click on the .ini file, click properties and tick the box that says "read only". See if that works as it has worked for me under Windows 7 64 bit.

You can also right click the ZC2.exe file, click properties, select the tab "compatibility" and tick the box where it says "run in 640x480 resolution".

Really? Did you notice the first reply?

It's possible the game doesn't support such a low resolution.
