sort of disappointed... :/

When I loaded this I was expecting to get a scary horror game...
So today I finally got around to playing it, left a light within reach in case I got too scared... well I didn't need it. I get more scared playing minecraft and getting blown up by creepers :/

But I have to say after recovering from the inicial anger, I like the concept of "chose your own story". And while I like it, I also feel like it's a bit... disappointing. I expected some actual horror, something scary... but in a time where we see people murdering others at all times on the TV, husbands killing their wives, fathers locking their kids in the basement, kids shooting their grandparents or whatever else... it's not all that shocking that I guy possibly goes crazy after losing his job and finding out that his wife cheated on him and going on a killing spree. Or that his envious co-worker did all this and tried to ruin his life even more? Who knows...

Just making this post because I had to share my bitterness with people who actually know about the game...

And in case that anyone actually reads this post... There was rustling in the forest and I thought I heard footsteps or something at some point... Is there a chance of encountering someone there?

You see faint shadows, eyes and hear sounds around certain areas (and at one point you can actually walk right upto a dark silhouette in the forest), but that's it. I was expecting someone to appear, atleast at the ending, it's what gave the game suspense, but I still think it was done well. Amazing game.

You have to experience all of this game have to offer,Each part you play have a role in the story that the game dont tell us,and have a giant replay valuable,since the itens you pick change the story,along whith your choice.

I guess I'll give it another try then to see that figure...
And I think it's done pretty well. As I said, I was disappointed because I was expecting something else...

I agree with you, I was expecting a "gasp!" moment that would make me jump from my chair, but that never happened :/

Well I thought the atmosphere was pretty creepy. But for a short and cheap indie game it provided a unique experience :)
