Either true or just bad game engine, try changing the setting and affinity in task manager, if stay 100% then it's a miner. What is your friend's pc specs btw? Most games won't require 100% both cpu gpu.

Thats why I made the post. I've seen miner games on steam before and its the same behavior no matter where you go with them. If resource sucking doesnt stop when game is paused or frozen then its mining you.
When I noticed this after he shared his task manager as he had the game in menu and or tabbed out while in menu it was sucking his PC dry. High temps proceeded and told him to get rid of it even if he did buy it as a joke to show me lol
Yeah. it's sad nowadays we have to deal with the fear of miner game, back then game just game with bad game engine coding. Either way miner or not, game defo not worth risking high temp for your hardware.
Nice, more people should be aware case like this. I mean... just use logic, not even Cyberpunk 2077 will use 100% of your both GPU/CPU at same time even at max setting all the time it's running. Even if this is not miner game, it's still bad game engine that could break PC hardware at some point.
yeah review is out :D best is if everyone write one so no one gets this game ^^
Plenty of low cost/free games exist on steam that are miners. They just stay longer than they should and moderation doesnt detect them that well for vetting anyway.
why is everything a scam now?
Yes it is a Miner
